US Implements Japanese Trade Deal; 15% Tariffs, Billions in Investments, Ag Purchases
Later on September 4, the US implemented a previously announced trade deal with Japan–setting a 15% baseline tariff on almost all Japanese goods imported to the US, according to a White House statement about a presidential order.
