Cracker Barrel Old Country Store is leaning into value and convenience heading into the fall season, rolling out a limited-time lineup of Crispy Homestyle Chicken meals starting at $9.99 as operators continue to compete for traffic across dayparts.
The promotion launched today, and runs through Oct. 18 at participating restaurants nationwide. The menu features new variations on Cracker Barrel’s hand-breaded chicken, along with seasonal breakfast items, desserts and beverages.

Cracker Barrel Names David Deno as Next CEO
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has appointed David Deno as its next chief executive officer, with the leadership change set to take effect on Aug. 10, 2026. Deno will also join the company’s board of directors on the same date.
He will succeed Julie Masino, who is stepping down as CEO and board member effective Aug. 10. Masino will remain with the company in an advisory role through Oct. 9, 2026, to support the transition.
