ANALYSIS: Australia’s Korean Beef Safeguard Teeters on Brink After 90% Drawdown
Australian beef imports have utilized 90.0% of the 2026 Korea-Australia Free Trade Agreement (KAFTA) safeguard quota as of June 25, according to Korea Customs Service data.
Exactly 19,602.68 metric tons (MT) remain available at the preferential 5.3% in-quota tariff rate.
