Unilever Cuts 6,000 Jobs Ahead of Ice Cream Spin-Off
The consumer goods giant Unilever revealed yesterday that it has already axed 6,000 jobs as part of an ongoing overhaul that will also result in it spinning off its ice cream business.
The Marmite and Dove soap maker said it was "ahead of plan" on the restructuring, which was announced last year and will lead to 7,500 job cuts worldwide in attempt to save €800m (£684m)...
