ANALYSIS: July 2024 Brings 4.8% Rebound in China’s Meat Imports After Extended Decline
China’s July 2024 meat imports, including variety meats saw a 4.8% monthly increase, reaching 539,913 mt, according to preliminary customs statistics from the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. This marked the first rise after three consecutive months of declines.
Earlier in June 2024, volumes slipped to a 12-month low, with volumes recorded at 514,957 mt.
