ANALYSIS: Turkey Cold Storage, Opposite Poles
As the chart illustrates, June’s month-over-month (MoM) uptick for whole birds of 10.0% aligns with the 5-year average MoM change of 12.6%. However, cold storage inventory of whole turkeys is at the lowest it has ever been for the month of June and is 12.2% lower than the 5-year average.
