WARN Notice Indicates Partial Layoff at Cargill's Nashville Plant
Cargill has filed a Worker Adjustment Retraining Notification (WARN) Act notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, notifying the agency of a layoff on March 15, 2024.
The notice, filed on January 24, will affect 111 workers at its “crumbles production” at Cargill’s plant in Nashville, Tennessee. The facility is located on Eugenia Ave and was acquired by Cargill in 2016.
The employees at the facility are not represented by a collective bargaining agreement, added the notice.
