Cargill Signs Agreement to Take Over 100% of Brazil's SJC Bionergia
Cargill has signed a sale and purchase agreement for a 50% stake in SJC Bionergia, giving it full control of the Brazilian sugar and renewable energy company, according to a statement.
The US grain trading company did not want to reveal the amounts involved in the transaction.
Cargill said that the move represents an advance in its strategy in the renewable energy market.
