NestFresh has completed the transition of its entire egg portfolio to Humanely Hatched™ sourcing, marking a significant expansion of in-ovo sexing technology in the US egg industry.
The move comes one year after the company introduced Humanely Hatched™ eggs nationwide. The technology identifies the sex of chicks before hatching, helping eliminate the routine euthanization of male chicks, a longstanding animal welfare concern in egg production.
