The most recent cold storage data for February reflects a mixed picture for the chicken market, with some categories showing an uptick in frozen inventory levels, while others got cleared from the “shelves” at an accelerated rate. Overall, total chicken stocks were essentially flat month-over-month (MOM), down just 0.3%, and slightly below year-ago levels at -1.7% year-over-year (YOY).
