ANALYSIS: 2024 Turkey Harvest Hits Record Low
2024 marked the first time on record, dating back to 2001, in which the total number of turkeys processed annually was below 200 million. At a value of approximately 198 million turkeys, 2024’s turkey harvest values fell 8.3% below those of 2023, and 9.2% below the 5-year average.
