FSIS Issue Public Health Alert for Contaminated Ground Beef Products from Stockyards Packing
The USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) has announced a public health alert concerning possibly contaminated fresh and frozen ground beef products. The product is no longer available to purchase so a recall was not issued.
This problem came to light after a customer reported hard plastic and metal in the meat to the company.
