Intense High Temperatures in India Having Little Impact on Meat Demand
Intense high temperatures (≥48 °C) were recently reported across India, which is expected to affect Indian poultry and livestock. Suresh Deora, Chairman CLFMA India, stated that the summer season does affect the Indian poultry and livestock market, but the effect is usually minimal (1-2% drops seen in the past), as farmers, breeders, and traders are well accustomed to handling it.
