Russian Pork Exports to China Gear Up Following Lifted Bans and Bilateral Protocol
In addition to Beijing scrapping regional restrictions for some Russian farm exports, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision announced its plans to commence pork exports to China in January 2024. This follows a bilateral inspection and quarantine protocol in December 2023, which was signed during the 28th conference between the heads of government of China and Russia.
