The 2023 Corn Harvest Is Officially Underway
The week ending September 10th marked the first week of measurable corn harvest in the United States for 2023.
The USDA reports that 5 percent of this year’s corn crop has been harvested so far, which is on par with a year ago at this time and one point ahead of the 5-year average. Texas reports 62 percent of its corn crop has been harvested, while North Carolina has harvested 49 percent.
