Foster Farms’ Request for Emergency Rail Service Denied by STB
Poultry producer Foster Farms’ second request for an emergency service order that would have directed Union Pacific Railroad Company (UP) to deliver shipments of corn to its facility was denied as moot by the Surface Transportation Board (STB).
However, UP must file weekly status reports with the STB until May 15 because the STB said it “remains sensitive to Foster Farms’ ongoing concerns.”
