U.S. Poultry and Egg Exports Set Record Last Year
U.S. poultry and egg exports in 2022 set a record at $6.234 billion, up 12.4 percent over 2021, with broiler exports reaching an all-time high in both volume and value, according to new trade data released by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service.
U.S. broiler exports to the Philippines, Congo (Brazzaville), Gambia, Mauritania, Benin, and Guinea in 2022 reached all-time highs in volume and value, while exports to China and Taiwan set records in value.
