Michigan Turkey Producers announced executive leadership changes.
Brian Boerigter, Michigan Turkey's Chief Operating Officer (COO), is being promoted to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Boerigter has served as COO for the past two and a half years and prior to that was the company's CFO for 16 years from its inception in 1999. He previously spent 12 years in accounting and financial planning roles at Bill Mar/Sara Lee.
Beth Riffe, Michigan Turkey’s V.P. of Technical Services, is being promoted to COO. Riffe had previously served as R&D Manager and Cost Optimization Manager and has an excellent grasp of Michigan Turkey's raw and cooked plant operations.
